Pac recently had to pull out of WrestleCon because he was unable to obtain a work visa, also known as a P-visa. That paperwork can take a while to go through which might mean that Double Or Nothing is off the table completely.
Pac had to pull out of WrestleCon and now AEW’s Double Or Nothing only 45 days away, it puts a lot of stress on the timeliness in getting a visa sorted.
Bodyslam.net reports that none of their sources close to the situation can confirm that Pac has actually signed with AEW. He is being promoted to face Hangman Page at Double Or Nothing in May, but an announcement of his actual signing has not been made by the company.
Double Or Nothing is less than two months away and the window to getting a VISA is closing fast. Bodyslam has reached out to a number of sources and none of them can confirm that PAC has officially signed with the company.
This is very interesting and given Pac’s current visa issues he might not be able to get everything in order by the time Double Or Nothing rolls around. This might cause AEW to re-book a promoted match which would not be good for their first show.
It was also reported that WrestleCon already asked AEW for help, but they either couldn’t or wouldn’t.
Pac’s last appearance in the United States except for showing up at the AEW rally in January was an October 2017 match against Enzo Amore for WWE. This was back when he had a work visa all together and was also known as Neville.
