Losing The Elite was supposed to be a bad thing for ROH. But it seems that this isn't the case. After losing out on Hangman Page, The Young Bucks, SCU and Cody who signed with AEW, Punishment Martinez who is signed to NXT, ROH has bolstered its roster by signing Brody King and PCO, Bandido, Mark Haskins and most recently announced RUSH to exclusive contracts with Ring Of Honor.
The Bounter Hunter Brody King and PCO most recently were announced as members of Villain Enterprises lead by The Elite member Marty Scurll.
The signings of Mark Haskins and Bandido appear to be unexpected coup as both men were most recently in the sights of WWE, and were unveiled in a new faction called LifeBlood lead by Juice Robinson, Tenille Dashwood aka Emma, Hot Sauce Tracy Williams and David Finlay and put over in a huge way by challenging ROH world champion Jay Lethal to a 5 man honorable match. LifeBlood vow to bring back the Honor to Ring of Honor.
Perhaps the biggest signing is Rush, for those not aware, along with La Sombra (Andrade Almas from WWE) founded Los Ingobernables based in CMLL. Recent reports were that Rush had turned down WWE after seeing the direction of Almas since being promoted to the main roster.
With the historic G1 Supershow PPV co-promoted with NJPW in April, Ring Of Honor has ensured that they will continue to put on quality matches and storylines.
These signings show that Ring Of Honor will be just fine as they were when a man named Bryan Danielson left their promotion.
