WWE recently re-hired Bruce Prichard for a role in the creative team very similar to the one he used to have.
This came as a surprise to some fans, but Vince McMahon had his reasons. It looks like the company isn’t done bringing in fresh blood because they have also hired former Vice writer Dave Schilling.
On top of Vice, Schilling has written for ESPN, The Guardian, and other publications. He made the announcement via his social media account on Sunday afternoon.
“SOME PERSONAL NEWS: I can finally reveal that I’m joining the creative team at WWE next month. I could not be more thrilled to have this opportunity in an industry I love.”
Let’s see if WWE bringing in new minds on the creative end of things along with a few top names from NXT will be able to save their dwindling ratings.
After all, being on the road to WrestleMania, the ratings should not be a problem.
