PW Insider are reporting that AEW's trademarks were initially refused because they need to make some changes when it comes to classification and some identification.
They need to change their wording because some identifications are not quite clear and need more detail. They also need to clarify that AEW is not trying to copyright the term “wrestling.”
Applications for AEW, the AEW logo, and Change The Universe were all initially denied and require change of classification and identification of goods and services. Their trademark for the term AEW All Out was also denied because of two pending applications using the term “All Out.”also learned that the AEW Double Or Nothing trademark was refused because it could be confused with 75 other existing trademarks.
Hopefully, it will work out in the end for them once they make the necessary alterations and changes to re-file their paperwork.
