All Elite Wrestling started out with a good start for a roster. Fans knew a lot of these people already from the Being The Elite series and other Internet Wrestling fun.
Now they are beefing up their roster and they have four wrestlers with a ton of potential in their sights.
As previously reported that it looked like Chuck Taylor and Baretta may be headed to AEW. Collectively known as Best Friends, reports are that they are finishing up with NJPW this weekend and are expected to sign on with AEW.
Dave Meltzer said later on Wrestling Observer Radio that there are a couple other bright stars that they are likely to include Kylie Rae and Sammy Guevara
Kylie Rae, known for her work with RISE, Shimmer, and Booker T’s Reality Of Wrestling promotion is expected to join the AEW Women’s Division.
Sammy Guevara is probably hard to book because he is so busy. A YouTuber himself, he is an incredibly talented high flyer from Houston, Texas and he has won titles and performed all over the world. Guevara is the current AAA World Cruiserweight Champion. He has wrestled for DDT, Lucha Underground, PWG and more. He recently competed in PWG's Battle of Los Angeles and at NWA 70. He has been most recently signed to MLW but the two parties were unable to come to an arrangement and it is said that Guevara had cancelled appearances and become 'difficult to book'
Chris Jericho just might have been speaking the truth when he said AEW doesn't need WWE Superstars.
While AEW has not yet officially confirmed signings they have a 'Double or Nothing' ticket party scheduled for February 7th at the MCM Grand in Las Vegas, where it is expected that AEW will unveil even more signings.
