Alcoholic Adam will give you his thoughts and opinions on what his current dream Wrestlemania 35 card would look like if he was booking the show of shows.
- The Miz is guest host of Wrestlemania 35 leaving that "Hollywood" feel on the event.
- Baron Corbin, The B Team, Pete Dunne and The Undisputed Era all have backstage segments throughout the night interrupting The Miz backstage and on stage. Just to keep the flow of the show going all night.
1. The Womens’ Tag Team Championships: Bayley & Sasha Banks (c) vs. Trish Startus & Lita.
For me personally, I would have this as a passing the torch moment where Bayley & Sasha Banks retain their belts. Then afterwards Trish Status & Lita showing respect towards them after the match shaking hands and holding the women tag team belts up high.
2. Cruiserweight Championship: Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Kushida.
Buddy Murphy’s open challenge; Buddy Murphy says he has destroyed everyone on the 205 LIVE Roster. So he offers an open challenge to any 205 LIVE competitor in the back. WWE newest recruit Kushida debuts at Wrestlemania 35 and defeats Buddy Murphy on the biggest stage of them all.
A couple of nights later Buddy Murphy then moves to the Smackdown Live roster and wins the United States Championship off Rey Mysterio or Andrade (see down below)
3. Triple H vs Batista: No Disqualification Match
I would of had this be Vince McMcMahon bringing back Batista wanting to take control of his company again, as well as it being extremely personal between Batista and Triple H.
Batista is defending Mr. McMahon in the weeks prior leading up to Wrestlemania 35, telling the C.O.O Triple H if he wins. Triple H is gone from the company and the same stipulation back, vice-versa if Triple H wins both Batista and Mr. McMahon are gone from the company.
Triple H wins the match finally getting onf over on Batista ending an intense fued, after getting Dean Ambrose, Kurt Angle & Braun Strowman got involved outside the ring when Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Elias came to Mr McMahons and Batista’s aid outside the ring fighting for each others control of the company (those 6 competitors battle on Raw the next night) after the gruelling 20 minute match up.
4. Raw Women’s Championship Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey (c)
Becky Lynch is clearly the most over going into the match and Ronda Rousey being such a big name leaving all the fans are begging for it I would surprisingly have Becky Lynch tap out Ronda Rousey as the finish.
Because the WWE want a surprise ending.
5. Smackdown Live Womens’s Championship Charlotte vs Asuka (c)
Asuka lost to political #BS last year in the back so this would be all about redemption for her from last years wrestlemania loss . So I would have Asuka make Charlotte Flair tap out via submission and retain her Women's Championship.
6. AJ Styles vs Randy Orton
With Randy being on a war path taking down all our favourites on the Smackdown roster it only makes sense that he tries to take down AJ Styles who is the face of the blue brand.
I would have AJ Styles win this one but after the match. Randy Orton knee punts AJ Styles to potentially write him off WWE television. Just in case he doesn’t re-sign with the WWE going forward or the other option, leaving this to a long term feud between the two for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam later on in the year.
7. The Undisputed Tag team Championship - unification match:
Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Uso's vs. RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival vs. NXT's DIY vs. The "Woken" Hardys in an intense ladder match at Wrestlemania 35.
After Fastlane Mr. McMahon announces that the tag division is pretty much dead, he wants to get rid of it. But he says he wont instead he will have the Smackdown & RAW Tag Team Champions featured at Wrestlemania in an undisputed Tag Team Championship match.
One extra team from RAW, Smackdown or NXT will be added to the match by winning a King of the Ring type of tournament. That being The "Woken" Hardy's (Impact gimmick) from Smackdown LIVE!
My winners of the match would be Jimmy Uso from The Uso's grabbing the unified Tag Team titles above the ring, but during the match other teams like DIY and The Revival create a rivalry between themselves as they both cost each other winning the unified tag team titles, whilst The Hardy's looked like they where about to win the ladder match at the very end but put over The Uso's in a more so passing the torch moment for brothers in tag team wrestling.
8. Intercontinental Championship Ricochet vs. Demon Finn Balor (c)
Just take my thoughts on this match. It is going to be based off work rate within the company where there is no wrong choice on who really wins. But in this scenario, I would have Ricochet win but Finn Balor's foot was under the bottom rope. Leading to a longterm rivalry between the two.
Baron Corbin comes out midway through the match and sits ringside but taunts Ricochet throughout the match outside the ring.
Finn Balor also turns heel on RAW; leading up to this match before Wrestlemania 35, making it a good heel vs face match. Finn Balor was always an awesome heel in Japan so why not use it and he can be more creative with his character.
Baron Corbin holds Demon Finn Balor's hand up at the end of the match telling the WWE Universe that Finn Balor is the actual winner and then they both attack the new champion Ricochet.
9. United States Championship - Andrade (c) vs Rey Mysterio vs Kevin Owens.
Andrade is going in as the champ into this match, as R-Truth as the champion is actually a joke. I would have Andrade retain his United States Championship by pinning Rey Mysterio clean having Andrade get a Wrestlemania moment.
This leads to Rey Mysterio winning the United States Championship later on in the year from Andrade or Buddy Murphy when he moves to Smackdown Live as a heel.
10. WWE Championship John Cena vs Daniel Bryan (c)
Here I would have it built off some elements of realism like Daniel Bryan saying stuff about not want to marry Nikki Bella and being fickle about being a main stream celebrity that he told The Rock he never wanted to become.
I would have Daniel Bryan win clean here, so John Cena can go back to his acting career and keep Daniel Bryan's vegan heel character momentum going. Both The Bella's hug Daniel Bryan alongside his buddy Rowan being his manager ringside.
11. WWE Universal Championship: Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar (c)
Seth Rollins has been the glue trying to hold RAW together for quite some time now and lets face facts Brock Lesnar isn’t giving a flying fuck.
So pretty much it’s time for Brock Lesnar to leave the company. Seth Rollins wins the Universal Championship after he outlasts "The Beast" in a 20 minute gruelling bloody and sweaty match up.
Roman Reigns comes down and congratulates a tired Seth Rollins but then takes him out leaving the crowd confused as to why Roman Reigns took out his buddy Seth Rollins as he has always been a huge face.
Holy shit Roman Reigns turned heel to end the show of shows!!
This also sets social media alight with how Wrestlemania 35 has ended.
