In the world of Professional Wrestling we workers are looked at by many fans of all ages from 2 years old all the way to the upper 80's and 90's as super heroes to some. When the fans pay their hard earned money to come to shows and watch us do what most of us do each and every single week or month or like the big leagues every night. We never thought in our right mind to look at other person in our locker room and wonder what kind of person are they on the outside of the ring. Well Unfortunately in the last few weeks there has been a few stories involving Pro Wrestlers and the way they are conducting themselves to the younger generation of fans that look up to us. This past week yet another disgusting act of giving the wrestling business a very bad name. Wrestler/Referee that isn’t that well known, gets caught being a creep. The horrible part is how certain people in this business are scumbags. The necessary part is raising awareness to their actions and calling them out.
Sometimes these accusations are full of details to back them up. Like video or photo evidence.
Earlier there were some tweets and Snapchat screenshots found on Twitter. After further investigation, there have been no police reports of the incidents. The girl or her family have not commented on the matter. The screenshot does say “Jaden Roller” but there is no proof that Jaden was the one who had sent those messages.
We were sent a screenshot of the alleged conversation.
According to a source on twitter @Midnight Guthrie saying that if you plan to book Jaden Roller to speak with him first unless your ok with a worker that talks dirty to 15 years. Guthrie was asked by a fan @TheTylerVolz if this was legit. Guthrie responded with Absolutely.
Lots of the local workers have commented on this matter though twitter.
Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Right now it looks like the evidence that is shown at this moment says there is more to this than meets the eye. Until more is presented, this is everything we have on the story. For the record, Jaden has not responded to the allegations but people in his party have reached out to vehemently deny these reports.
This is and has been happening all over the local independent scene and this is about the 4th case that has been mentioned recently. There was a so called incident in Mt. Pulaski IL back in October 2018. There was a so called incident in Indiana with a very well known Indiana Wrestler that was working a show in December 2018. These 2 have had no police reports filed or action taken by either promotion involved either. So until these so called victims file reports nothing has been done.
As for now until there is anymore involving Jaden Roller on his incident I can only speculate. Unfortunately we are stuck never knowing who inside our locker rooms are the creeps or sexual predators until the victims come out and tell their story and by then it's all ready to late. WWE recently had to remove content on the WWE Network involving Buck Zumhofe who was sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2014 for twelve felony counts of criminal sexual misconduct. He was also found guilty for having sex with a minor in 1986 and served 36 months in prison.
I feel that only way we may be able to stop these things are to start running background checks on Pro Wrestlers and the Local Independent scene as well, but that's leading into a huge legal issue due to the constitution.
